The United Kingdom does not like Islamic New Year very much. Similar to other countries, it is quiet and relies on remembrance. The UK does not have a public holiday on this occasion.

“laihissalam started traveling to Mecca, thinking that he wouldn’t follow to the Holy place. The thoughts did not go well. His (Alaihissalam) way was blocked by the army sent by the brutal Yazid. 30000 soldiers surrounded him and his companions.”
“He didn’t stop fighting. The last warning was given by Yazid who limited their access to water. Either support the government or be killed. Hazrat Hussayn stood by his principles and refused to support Yazid.”
The result was His Martyr along with his friends. Throughout this time, the companions remained loyal. The family of Hazrat Hussayn, including his sister, were kept captive. The leadership role was taken by Hazrat Zainab (Alaihissalam).
The ruler died 3 years after the incident. The military strength and barbaric nature are powerless at the time of death.

What happened in Muharram?
“The Shahadat of Hazrat Hussain (Alaihissalam) was only one of many things that happened in the month of Muharram. The death anniversary of a Sufi is on a Saturday. It’s on the 5th of Muharram.”
